Measured in a cell proliferation assay using TF-1 human erythroleukemic cells. The ED50 for this effect is 1-6 ng/mL.
Purity
> 95% as determined by SDS-PAGE.
Endotoxin
<1 EU per 1μg of the protein by the LAL method.
Formulation
Lyophilized from sterile 150mM NaCl, 50mM NaAc, pH 5.5.Normally 5% - 8% trehalose, mannitol and 0.01% Tween80 are added as protectants before lyophilization.
Reconstitution
We recommend that this vial be briefly centrifuged prior to opening to bring the contents to the bottom. Reconstitute in sterile distilled water or aqueous buffer containing 0.1 % BSA to a concentration of 0.1-1.0 mg/mL.
